This is the Isle of Palms Beach Run 2013.
All events are entirely on the flat, wide, hard-packed beach (near low tide) and begin and end behind the Windjammer (1008 Ocean Blvd.). Event held rain or shine. Events include:
5K Run/Walk
10K Run/Walk
100 yard - 4 and under
1/2 mile - 5-8 years old
1 mile - 9-14 years old
All runners will be timed. Results will be posted at the IOP Recreation Center. There will be no mailed results. Participants may enter only one event. Results can be found at www.rmssports.com
Awards Ceremony Held on Windjammer deck promptly following Youth Fun Runs
• 5K and 10K - Top overall M & F
• Gift Certificate awarded to 1st Place in each category.
• Top Two M & F, each age group: 12 & Under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over.
• Youth Fun Runs - Ribbons to all finishers. These are the fun runs and do not have overall or age group awards.

5K and 10K Run/Walk 8:00 AM
Youth Fun Runs 9:30 AM
Awards for 5K & 10K Run Following Youth Runs at the Windjammer
Registration Fees:
Through June 1, 2013: 5K - $20/10K - $25/Youth Fun Runs - $5
After June 1, 2013: 5K - $25/10K - $30/Youth Fun runs - $10
Entry fees are nonrefundable for any reason including a cancelled event. If you preregister, and are unable to attend, you may pick up your packet and Register at the Windjammer, Friday June 28 from 4:30-6:30pm and also raceday! |
