 News Channel 3 will host the Sunset 5K Run/Walk this year. The race will start at the historic LeMoyne-Owen College, journey through Soulsville USA and return to the campus for a great evening of food, fun and concert.
Above all, when you participate in this event, you will be helping to raise money for the 38 United Negro College Fund member institutions including LeMoyne-Owen College. Your participation in this race will help many of these students have a chance to succeed in life.
If you do not run, walkers are welcomed and if you don’t walk, come and enjoy the music. Bring everyone you know: family, friends, co-workers, church members, form a team and raise lots of money to support scholarships.
A $100.00 cash award for Overall Eligible Male and Female Race Winner
Registration Fee:
Pre-Registration - $20
Race Day - $25
Award presentations will immediately follow the race and will be given to the male and female overall winners, male and female masters winners, male and female grand masters winners, and the top three males and females in each age category
This a sanctioned event of the Memphis Runners Track Club (MRTC) and will run under its supervision. All decisions of the MRTC are final and the race will occur rain or shine at 7:00 PM. |
