The Plainview High School Science Club invites you to participate in a 5K walk/run Thursday, November 22, at 8:00 A.M. The proceeds from this event will be used to supplement the cost of science lab equipment.

RACE DAY INFORMATION
Race day registration will be at the DCSC lobby from 7:00-7:45 A.M. Participants should park on the “Rainsville side” of the DCSC and assemble at 7:50 in the front of the DCSC. The race will begin promptly at 8:00. Restrooms will be available in the DCSC lobby.
DESCRIPTION OF COURSE
The course will consist of a single loop beginning and ending near the DCSC.
DIVISIONS
12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over
AWARDS
9:00 AM (or as soon as everyone finishes)
All participants who register by Nov. 15th will receive a t-shirt.
Awards will be given to the Over-all Male & Female runners and the top three runners in each division.
There are male and female divisions.
REGISTRATION FEES
The cost is $20.00 per individual for the 5K Run/Walk. Please mail your registration fee and signed registration form to Rhonda Johnson at PHS, PO Box 469, Rainsville, AL 35986 by November 15th in order to secure a t-shirt. We will take race-day entries ($25.00) but we cannot guarantee a t-shirt. If paying by check, please make it payable to PHS Science Club. Please note that your entry fee is non-refundable. We will run rain or shine, but we reserve the right to cancel in the event of threatening weather.
