 The purpose of The John “Bad Dog” McCormack Memorial 5K is twofold.
First, to raise money to support The Ronald McDonald House of Memphis located on John “Bad Dog” McCormack Boulevard and serving the patients and families of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Second, this event is being done to honor the life and commitment of John “Bad Dog” McCormack, native Memphian and beloved radio personality, to “The Kids at The House”. For twenty years John worked with his on-air colleagues to raise money to expand and improve The RMH. But beyond a once-a-year fundraiser, John was personally committed to and invested in each and every child whose life was touched by The House. |
