2011 will mark the 10th annual St. Peter Villa 5K Run and Walk.
It will also be the fourth year for the 1K Family Fun Run.
The event is held in memory of Joseph F. Birch, Sr. Mr. Birch lived at the Villa for almost two years and was very special to all associated with him.
Typical race participants are active Mid-Southerners. Many are members of the Memphis Runners Track Club, and range in age from 20 to 65. Our mix of male/female is typically 40% to 60%.
Awards will go to the top male and female winners and male and female masters’ winners. Each participant will receive a goody bag, which includes a 5K Run t-shirt. There will be food, drinks, and music at the post-race party for all participants.
Pre-race packet pick-up and registration will take place at Fleet Feet on Thursday April 7th from 11:30 – 1:30 and Friday April 8th from 3-6.
