Race will be Sept 28th. Starts behind Central Auto Dealerships on Stadium Boulevard.
There will be a Half Marathon, 5K and Corporate Walk.
Half Marathon Walk/Run 7:00 AM
5K Walk/Run 7:15 AM
Corporate Non-Competitive Walk/Run 9:30 AM
Brunch & Band 9:00-10:45 AM

The half marathon will be a mix of flat and rolling hills but a lot flatter than years past. The course will be USATF certified. We are working on course now and will have course information posted by May. There will be water stations every mile and a half with gatorade starting at the second stop, Stops will have food beginning at the third stop. Gu will be given around mile 6. The course will be well marked and lots of volunteers on the course. Police will be present in certain places.

The half marathon will have a 3 1/2 hour time limit which is 16 min pace . Participants not meeting that time requirement will be picked up and brought to finish.
The half marathon and 5k will be part of the ridge rider running and walking series. Series points and participation credits will be given for both events.
Please note - IF YOU REGISTER AS A CORPORATE TEAM MEMBER, YOU MUST FOLLOW THE CORPORATE TEAM PRIZE STRUCTURE TO GET A SHIRT. IF YOU ARE WANTING TO DO THE 5K AS A TIMED RACE, YOU NEED TO REGISTER FOR 5K ONLINE . NO CORPORATE WALKERS ARE TIMED.
Registration Fees for the Half Marathon:
Now until May 30th $50
May 30th until Aug 15th $60
Aug 15th until Sept 26th $70.
Race Day Registration for Half-Marathon is $75.
5k Registration Fees:
$20 until May 30th
May 30th til Sept 26th $25
Sept 26th thru Race day $30.
Chip pick up and 5k registration day of event will start at 5:45 am and end 15 minutes before start of race.
There will be NO refunds given once you have registered. We can't refund one person and not another so just set that NO refunds. Please don't email asking for refund or swapping runners because we can't do that. This race is for a charity so your funds will go to charity. Charity this race goes for is Community Health Education Foundation's AED Placement Program in High Schools and Community Facilities, as well as, Community Health Education and Screenings.
Half Marathon runner awards will be 1st - 5th overall Male and Female, Masters and Grandmasters. Awards will also be given 3 deep in 5 year Age Divisions Male and Female. Half Marathon walker awards will be 1st - 5th Male and Female but no age division awards. 5k awards will be 1st - 5th overall , Masters and Age Division awards. 5k walkers will be 1st - 5th overall but no age awards.
This race will be a Champion Chip timed event by Stearns Race timing, LLC.
All in town runners MUST pick up their race bib Friday the 27th. Out of town runners can pick up the morning of. Participants for the Half Marathon and 5k must register by Sept 15th to be given a t-shirt . Half participants must also register by August 15th to be guaranteed a finishers medal at the finish line. |
