Give a Child a Chance Certified 5K and Family Fun Run/Walk to benefit GMF Children around the world. For twenty years, our child sponsorship program has
made a difference in orphaned, abandoned, and impoverished children around the world. These children are the poorest of the poor. Millions die each year from malnutrition and
easily curable diseases. So many die that it is the equivalent of a jumbo jet filled with children crashing every 21 minutes around the clock, every day of the year. To change this, children
need food, clean water, health care access, shelter, and education. GMF Children works to make this possible one child at a time through child sponsorship. This 5K will be held at Shelby Farms and will use ChampionChip Timing technology. Pre-registration through 10/30/2009: $20 adult/$10 children & students under 18/$50 Family Package (4 participants.) Registration after 10/30/2009: $25 adult/$12 children & students under 18/$60 Family Package (4 participants.) |
