We own the hills of North Mississippi and invite you to join us and make them yours.
Experience Oxford and the University of Mississippi. All the best in shopping, dining, sports and culture can be found in historic Oxford and surrounding Lafayette County.
Our mission is to create an endowment fund for two specific camping programs at Hopewell in Oxford, Mississippi. The goal is to provide an experience for these children and families at no cost to the participants: 1. Camp for Children and Youth with Diabetes and 2. Christians Living with Cancer Family Camp.
The race course will take you through the Oxford Square, the University campus, the biking and walking paths and the public parks of the city. Oxford’s uniqueness captivates its visitors like a true Southern Classic.
Online registration closes February 24 @ 11:59 pm. Mail in registration must be received by February 19th. Participants registering after 7:30 a.m. race day will not receive a chip and will not be timed.
Packet Pickup: You will be able to pick up your racing packet, number, and timing chip at the following locations and times: Friday, Feb. 25th, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Oxford Down Town Inn. Saturday, Feb.26th (Race Day) from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at The Oxford Conference Center.
ChampionChip Timing: The Run for Hope Half Marathon & 5K will use ChampionChip timing technology. Participants must wear a race chip to get an official time and be included in the results. All race chips must be returned to the finish area after the race to avoid a lost chip fee of $30.
Half Marathon Course closes 11:30 a.m.; at that time any participants remaining on the course are responsible their own safety and direction
Should severe weather that creates dangerous conditions for runners cause cancellation of the race there will be no refunds.
