The inaugural Tribute Triathlon was created to remember our friends and loved ones who were committed to a healthy lifestyle but were taken from us far too early in life. To honor them, the West Central Missouri Multisport Club (WCMMC) has created an event challenging enough to entice the seasoned triathlete yet shorter in distance to attract the beginners who may be looking to participate in their first open water triathlon. As a not for profit group, all proceeds will go towards furthering the mission of the WCMMC and the following charitable organizations: E.W. Thompson State School, Henry Co. Health Department and the Athletic Heart Clinic with St. Luke's Mid America Heart Institute. |
